Removing Trace Ethylbenzene from Water by UV

Degradation of trace ethylbenzene in water is described by the first-order kinetic equation. The degradation rate is inversely proportional to the distance of UV light source. Derivatives containing oxygen are identified as degradation products of ethylbenzene based on the GC-MS analysis.
