Pilot-plant-scale Study of Aerated Static Vessel System for Composting Municipal Solid Waste

In an aerated static vessel composting process, inoculating microbes is added at the proportion of 1.5%, which can accelerate maturity of compost and cut down composting time. Experimental results showed that temperature could rapidly reach as high as 55℃ and lasted for four days and composting products could meet the requirement of the relative national sanitary standard (GB 7959-87).
