Experimental Decolorization of Anionic Dyes in Wastewater Using Fresh MnO_2 as Adsorbent

To study the characteristics of fresh MnO_(2) for decolorization of different soluble dyes, experiments were conducted to treat water containing direct dyestuff, acid mordant and reactive dyestuffs. It is concluded that high efficiency of decolorization of fresh MnO_(2 )is attributed to its strong interface adsorption.
