Effect of Papermaking Wastewater Irrigation on Sodium Ion Content in Tamarix chinensis

REN Jun,TAO Ling,HOU Pei-qiang,CHEN Xue-min,FU Xiao-yong(School of Environmental and Municipal Engineering,Lanzhou Jiaotong University,Lanzhou730070,China)
Sodium ion content in Tamarix chinensis in different irrigation years and in different vegetal parts was studied, and results showed that sodium ion content of Tamarix chinensis increased gradually with increasing of irrigation years in the same vegetal part, and the sodium ion content was in positive correlation with that of soil.Sodium ion content of leaf was higher than that of root, which indicated that the leaf had better sodium ion-tolerance than root, with leaf as main site for sodium ion accumulation and excretion.
