Nickel-containing Wastewater Treatment by Modified Lignosulfonate Flocculation

Modified lignosulfonate flocculation was applied to treating nickel-containing electroplate wastewater with quite good efficiency.Results showed that the modified lignosulfonate with bigger molecular and better flocculation which was obtained under the conditions of room temperature,monomer dosage 1.5mol/L and reaction time 48h can be used to treat nickel-containing wastewater,with removal efficiency of Ni2+ and COD in nickel-containing wastewater up to 98.0% and 80.0% respectively in the conditions of dosage of modified lignosulfonate 100mg/L,pH 7,catalysis time 70min and room temperature.
