Hybrid Culture on Impact of Hydrogen Production and Metabolism of Rhodopseudomonas palustris

Mixed culture gradually aroused people's concern in recent years.Rhodopseudomonas palustris was mixed cultured with Enterobacter aerogenes PCM532 for growth and metabolism,hydrogen production and orthogonal experiment as well as carbon metabolism of Biolog.Results showed that the mixed bacteria grew rapid under the conditions of illumination and anaerobic.Hydrogen production of mixed culture was much higher than pure culture of R.palustris and E.aerogenes.The carbon can be used in mixed bacteria while can not be used by pure culture in experiment of Biolog microplate metabolism.Orthogonal test showed that the substrate and mixing ratio have the greatest impact on mixed culture.Mixed culture showed synergies,which can promote growth of bacteria and improve ability of hydrogen production.
