Novel Hybrid Bioreactor for Municipal Wastewater Treatment

Based on mechanism of internal electrolysis,internal electrolysis together with activated sludge was integrated to a novel bioreactor with SBR as main process.The performance for municipal wastewater treatment was studied,it was found that the new bioreactor strengthened the activated sludge to get higher removal efficiency of COD,nitrogen and phosphorus, which will provide a direction for rebuilding or renovating the traditional wastewater treatment plant.
