Performance of Au/SnO_2/TiO_2 Catalytic Oxidation of CO

Au/SnO2/TiO2 catalyst with different contents of SnO2 was prepared by calcinations of Titanium Sponge and loading with active components nanometer Au. The catalysts were characterized by BET,SEM and XRD,and oxidization activity of CO by the catalysts was studied. Experimental results showed that the addition of SnO2 to Au/SnO2/TiO2 catalysts was found to improve the catalytic activity obviously and the catalysts have good effective for catalytic oxidation of CO. When Titanium Sponge was calcined at 400℃,and loaded with 10% SnO2 and 1% Au,the catalyst can make 2.94% CO conversion almost reach 100% at about 124℃.
