Preparation of Sepiolite Complex Sorbent and Its Treatment Properties for Dyeing Wastewater

Fe/Al sepiolite complex sorbents were prepared by modified sepiolite with Fe3+ and Al3+,and its adsorption property to simulated dyeing wastewater was studied. After treatment in 60min,the decoloration rate was 99% and adsorption capability was 58.44mg/g. In the same conditions,compared with active carbon and original sepiolite,the maximum adsorption capabilities of sepiolite complex sorbent were increased by 3~4 and 9~10 times respectively.
