Affecting Factors of Electrical Leakage Detection Method for Double-liner Landfill

Factors including leak current,distance between detecting electrodes and impermeable liner,medium resistivity and power supply electrode location can affect the leak detection of hazardous waste landfill using electric method.The simulating results showed that bigger leak current,nearer distance between detecting electrodes and impermeable liner,farther distance between power supply electrode and leak have positive effect on detection.Local lower soil resistivity caused by leachate has negative effect on detection.
