Analysis of Operation Effect of UNITANK Process

Operation effect of UNITANK process which was used in Phase II of Liede Wastewater Treatment Plant,Guangzhou was analyzed.Results showed that the running effect was quite good,with removal efficiency of BOD5 and COD over 88%,removal efficiency of TN between 40%~60% without internal recycle and removal efficiency of TP over 86% with supplement of chemical phosphorus removal using liquid aluminum sulfate as chemical agent.Final effluent quality well met Grade I standard of GB18918-2002.UNITANK process is feasible to be applied in large scale urban wastewater treatment plant with low influent concentration.
