Research and Application of River Oil Spill Model in Advanced Warning System of Water Quality of Three Gorges

A plane two-dimensional river oil spill model was developed,which is effective in modeling river oil spill accident in advanced warning system of Three Gorges water quality.For common oil spill modeling,FAY model is used in oil spill spreading period and oil particle model is used in oil-spill transport period.An oil particle model based on FAY model can be used in both spreading period and transport period,which destroy the limits of FAY model that is only used for static marine,and solve the problem of oil particle model that can not model oil spill spreading.The integrated model is especially suitable in modeling river oil spill accident happening in narrow and complicated water area where flow is complicated too.The model is used for advanced warning system of Three Gorges water quality,with satisfactory results.
