Improvement on COD Determination of Chinese Environmental Standard Based on PLS

The calibration model was improved by using partial least squares(PLS).PLS models were built for the high span and low span of COD determination respectively.The relative errors of predicted results were 4.47% and 4.09%,which were apparently in accordance with that of GB dichromate method.The uncertainly that resulted from linear fitting regression in fast digestion spectrophotometer method for detecting water quality of Chinese environmental standard was solved.
