Degradation of Dye Wastewater by Electrocatalytic Oxidation with Catalyst of Activated Carbon-loaded Nanometer TiO_2

TiO2/GAC photocatalyst was prepared by sol-gel-dynamic adsorption method.The affecting factors on electrocatalytic oxidation degradation of methyl orange wastewater were studied by decoloring rate.Experimental results showed that under the conditions of pH value of 4,amount of TiO2/GAC photocatalyst 0.5g,concentration of Fe2+ 250mg/L,voltage of electrolysis 16V and electrolysis time 30min,the decoloring rate of methyl orange wastewater was 99.2% and removal efficiency of COD was 93.1%.
