Apparent Molar Volume Model of CO_2 Saline Solution for Geological Sequestration

Based on existing CO2 saline solution density model and experimental data of CO2 subsurface brine solution density,considering the effect of temperature,pressure and CO2 mass fraction,apparent molar volume model for CO2 saline solution was established.Results showed that the model can predict the apparent molar volume of CO2 brine solution in the temperature range 30~50℃ from 10 to 20 MPa.The maximum relative error was 0.25% and average relative error was 0.1% compared with the experimental data.The model prediction accuracy was obviously higher than the existing CO2 saline solution apparent molar volume model for CO2 geological sequestration.
