Influence of Flue Gas Flow Rate and CO_2 Partial Pressure on Removing CO_2 in Flue Gas with Carbonated Ammonia Water Solution

To reduce and ultimately control carbon dioxide emission during energy production and utilization are very important.As an absorbent,ammonia water is used for CO2 absorbed in flue gas.Effects of gas flue flow rate and CO2 partial pressure for the removal efficiency of CO2 were studied in the filled tower with R=50% carbonized ammonia hydroxide.Results showed that removal efficiency of CO2 by ammonia absorption increased with increasing the reaction time in the tower and decreasing velocity of flue gas.The carbonized ratio is beyond 130% at different velocities of flue gas.The best result is obtained at the condition of velocity of flue gas 1L/min and CO2 partial pressure 0.046 MPa.
