Preparation of V~(5+)/TiO_2-SiO_2-GF Composite Photocatalyst and Degradation of Formaldehyde

TiO2,TiO2-SiO2 and V5+/TiO2-SiO2 were prepared by sol-gel method,and then loaded on glass fibre.The samples were characterized by XRD and BET.Their photocatalytic properties were studied by photocatalytic degradation of formaldehyde.Results indicated that the photocatalytic activity of nano-TiO2 was mainly affected by factors such as pretreatment of glass fibre,composite ratio of TiO2 and SiO2,doping content of V5+,doping ratio and calcination temperature.Specific surface area of composite photocatalysts V5+/TiO2-SiO2 was 143.74 m2/g and grain particle size was 16.9 nm.
