Isolation of an Efficient Ammonifying Bacterium and Study of Its Transformation Properties

Ammonifying bacterium called BH11,was isolated from 100 strains of bacteria in nature and screened with algae residue medium.Identified as Delftia acidovorans through 16S rDNA identification,BH11 was capable of degrading algae residues with high efficiency.Its ability of heterotrophic nitrification and aerobic de-nitrification was also found during extensive studies,100% removing rate of NO 3——N and an average aerobic de-nitrification rate of 0.694 mg/(L·h) could be achieved.BH11's excellent abilities of ammoniation,heterotrophic nitrification and aerobic denitrification,which as a whole had been shown by the experiment described in this paper,were valuable in water eutrophication control and worth further investigation.
