Analysis of Resource Utilization of Dredged Mud in Shanghai

For dredged mud resource utilization,the particle size,chemical composition,pollutant content and nutrient content in the dredged mud from several sampling areas of Shanghai are measured.The feasibility of transforming dredged mud into regenerative resources is also discussed.Results show that the dredged mud in Shanghai mainly consists of silt.The dredged mud sampled from inland waterway could be used as agricultural land and restored material for wetland and mine.Because of the insufficient organic substance,the dredged mud sampled from the Huangpu River and the Yangtze River could only be available in landscape engineering.Stabilized sediment could be a suitable raw material for producing ceramist and brick.
