The Experimental Optimization of Secondary Sludge Dewatering Using Chemical Conditioning Method

In the Pilot experiment in Datong,secondary dewatering of dewatered sludge was studied.By orthogonal experiment,the conclusion was that using FeCl3,CaO,stabilizer and mineralization agent for sludge conditioning,the conditioning result was mainly affected by the factors such as the pH of slurry,the concentration of sludge and the of dewatering time.For the pH of mixed slurry had the most significant impact,alkaline condition was better than acid condition.The density of slurry had negative effects on pressure filtration.The time of dewatering was relatively fixed.In condition of proper chemical agent and the dewatering time,the water content of sludge can be under 60%,the sludge can be stable shape and free from odour.The method achieved the purpose of sludge reduction and sludge stabilization.
