Progresses in Photonic Biochemical Sensors

In this article,some new progresses in photonic biochemical sensors in recent years are reviewed,focused on surface plasma waves biochemical sensors,ring resonator-based biochemical sensors as well as integrated optical interference biochemical sensors which mainly related to integrated dual-mode waveguide interferometer biosensors and biosensors based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI),paying special attention to the material,technical architecture,optical sensing principle and the respective advantages and disadvantages briefly.In addition,design and simulation software employed in photonic biochemical sensors are presented.
