Numerical Simulation on Sand Deposition Characteristics Around Composite Sand Barrier Measures

The sand trajectory and deposition characteristics around composite sand barrier measures(combination sand preventing dike with sand preventing ditch) were simulated by the discrete particle model based on the CFD software.The results showed that the effect of the sand preventing dike obstructed larger particles was better and the majority of the smaller particles transported across its top continuously;The obstructive effect was improved obviously by setting up the sand preventing ditch behind the airflow's(or sand particles) touch point in the downstream of the sand preventing dike;While the distance between the sand preventing dike and the sand preventing ditch was a constant,expanding the length of the sand preventing ditch affected the sand deposition observably.
