Study on Rapid Analysis of Microcystins by HPLC

An improved HPLC system was set up for rapid analysis of Microcystins(MCs)based on the traditional HPLC method. The retention time of MC-RR and MC-LR were shortened to 2.609 ±0.007 min and 2.959 ±0.009 min respectively.However,linear relationships were satisfactory in 0.4 μg/m L ~100 μg/m L. This improved HPLC system showed great superiority for analyses of MCs. The analysis time was shortened within 3 min,and the method has good application prospects.
