Application for a Method of Evaluating the Apparent Quality of Urban Scenic Water

Aiming at the application effect of the quality factor formula which shows the apparent quality of the scenic water using reflection spectrum, 90 scenic water samples were collected in Suzhou City and the result was the absolutely coincidence of 38.9% comparing the apparent rate using the quality factor formula and the rate obtaining on the scenic water.The sample proportion of different apparent rates on the scenic water was analyzed by selecting various parameters such as the characteristic value of normalized reflectivity,hue difference and area of the reflectivity curve in the visible range. The characteristic value of normalized reflectivity in the original quality factor formula was replaced by the area of reflectivity curve in the visible range. Meanwhile the improved quality factor formula and the grading method by the quality factor were presented. 90 samples have been verified and the results show the absolutely coincidence of 65.5 % and the elementarily coincidence of 98.8% between the apparent rate using revised formula and the grading by the quality factor and the one obtaining on the scenic water,which improved the accuracy of evaluating the apparent quality of urban scenic water by reflection spectrum.
