A STUDY ON SPECIES CHOICE FOR EIRE PROTECTION FOREST BELT

Three main factors-fire resistant ability, bioecological and silvicultural characteristics about 37 tree species have been analysed in the laboratory ; and have been judged and divided into grades by using Fuzzy mathematics method. Upon the above basis the synthetical evaluational model of species choice for fire protective forest belt has been further established and divided into five grades by means of polygoal decision. Grade 1 included Schima superba Garodn. et Champ. $ grade 2 enclosed ten tree species, such as Podocarpus nagi (Thunb. ) Zoll. et Mor. ex Zoll. Castanopsis scierophglla(Lidl) Schott, Cyclobalanopsis glauca(Thunb.) Oenst, Castanopsis kawakamit Hay, et al.
