Schima supera forest is one of the main forest types in Wanmulin Nature Reserve. The study on the features of its community and its mensuration showed: 1) The community is dominated by Theaceae and Fagaceae families and the dominant tree are Schima supera, Castanopsis face and Castanopsis fargesii. 2)The stand structure is a typical uneven-aged forest structure. 3) The stand volume is 632. 4m3/hm2 and its average volume increment is 9. 034m3/(hm2. a). This study provided certain references for the natural broad-leaved forest management in mid-subtropical region.
