A new technique of shikimic acid distilled from aniseed

ZHONG Chang-yong(Guangxi Academy of Forestry Sciences,Nanning,Guangxi 530001,China)  
Aniseed is a Chinese characteristic forest product which can extract anise oil,and it contains shikimic acid which is an important medicament.The article introduces a new manufacture method of shikimic acid extracted from aniseed,and purified with ion resin exchange,resin absorption method and solvent method etc.The purity of shikimic acid is more than 99%,the yield is more than 3.5%.
