Phenology of the Several Species and New Leaf Growth Law of Several Species of Magnoliaceae

From January 1 to December 31 in 2015,the phenological period and the growth of new leaves of seven Magnoliaceae species(Magnolia liliiflora、Magnolia soulangeana、Michelia alba、Magnolia denudata、Magnolia coco、Magnolia grandiflora、Michelia figo) in Jinshan campus of Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University.were observed and analyzed.The results showed that:the florescence of most of the evergreen tree species in Magnoliaceae was longer than deciduous tree species in Magnoliaceael;in the seven species,the florescences of Magnolia soulangeana and Michelia alba was the longest,which could last for 143 days,while the florescence of Magnolia denudata was the shortest which could only last for 16 days;the trend of new leaf growth of Magnoliaceae was consistent with certain rules of function.Based on the characteristics of the phenological features,suggestions on the landscape configuration of Magnoliaceae plants were put forward.
