Effects of Leptocybe invasa Fisher et La Salle on the Chemical Composition of Eucalyptus Leaves and Resistance of Eucalyptus

The changes of physiological and biochemical substances related to chemical defense in Eucalyptus leaves were measured,and the growth and population trend of the pests on the injured host were analyzed.The results showed that the content of soluble sugars,polysaccharides,and protein in the loquat leaves after 3 days of damage was significantly decreased in the treatment group compared with the control;the secondary biomass such as flavonoids,tannins,and total phenols.The number of bees that emerged from their offspring decreased by 15.19%.The weight of the bees dropped by 11.28%,the number of eggs dropped by 11.10%,and the population trend index decreased by 8.89%.The content has increased significantly.Physiological and biochemical indicators of Eucalyptus leaves suffered from significant changes and affected biological characteristics and population trends of the wasp.
