Effects of Torreya grandis-soybean Complex Management on Soil Chemical Properties

The experiment of interplanting soybean under young Torreya grandis forest was carried out in Songyang County,Zhejiang Province from 2012 to 2015(with no interplanting soybean as control),and the effects of interplanting soybean under young Torreya grandis forest on soil pH value and main nutrient content were discussed.The results of three consecutive years showed that compared with the control,the soil pH value increased by 1.0,the soil organic matter content increased by 29.4%,and the available nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium content increased by 27.2%,12.2% and 5.5% respectively after three years of interplanting.The results showed that interplanting soybean under young Torreya grandis forest could improve the soil acidity and alkalinity,and effectively increase the content of soil organic matter and available nutrients such as nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium.
