Experimental Study on the Synthesis of PZeolites from High Content Silica of Bentonite byAlkali Melt and Hydrothermal Methods

The chemical composition of the bentonite was analyzed,the montmorillonite and the silica of the bentonite were activated by alkali melt at 400 ℃ for 2 h,then the high active pretreated materials was obtained.The optimum conditions of synthesis P zeolites were determined by single factor experiments as follows: n(SiO2)/n(Al2O3)=5,n(Na2O)/n(SiO2)=1.4,n(H2O)/n(Na2O)=50,aging at 30 ℃ for 2 h,crystallization at 90 ℃ for 9 h.The XRD and SEM analysis results showed that the products were pure P zeolites,most of them were spherical and the average particle size was 2 μm.
