Influence of severe plastic deformation on performance of Ag/SnO_2 material prepared by powder metallurgy

The Ag/SnO2 composite are prepared by reactive synthesis,and the microstructure homogenization and performance variation of Ag/SnO2 composite in the severe plastic deformation were investigated.After the Ag/SnO2 composite is severely deformed,SEM analysis shows that fiber microstructure vanishes gradually,and the SnO2 particles distribute homogenously.After the Ag/SnO2 composite is severely deformed,the tensile strength of the Ag/SnO2 composite is enhanced,plasticaticity is improved,and the size of subgrain is decreased,so that it is more easily machined;with the true strain increasing,conductivity increases first and then decreases.
