RADIACTIVE ENVIROMENT POLLUTION RESULTED FROM BURNING COAL AT THE COAL-FIRED POWER STATIONS

In this paper the ~(210)Po contents in the coal,cinder andbottom-ash,flyash and stack-dust samples taken from the thermal Powerplants in Nanchang were given.Based on these data the level of ~(210)Po radiactivity released into theatmosphere by a coal-fired power station was estimated and the dose equiva-lent of lung tissue for population was calculated.
