ASSESSMENT OF ATMOSPHERE ENVIRONMENT IMPACT OF TRITIUM DISCHARGED FROM BURNING WASTE ORGAMNIC LIQUID

CIAE's installation for burning organic liquid wastes was built in 1986.A total of 1.7 tonsof waste engine oil containing tritium(10~5 Bq/L)were burned from Aug.to Sep.,1989.The resultof monitoring showed that the burning resulted in a maximum tritium concentration of 13.3 Bq/m~3 inthe air.The results of monitoring were coincide with that of model estimation.The resulted maximumindividual dosc equivalent was some 0.32 μSv.
