Effect of different antalgic methods in interventional therapy for uterine myoma

Objective:To assess the antalgic effect of different antalgic methods in UAE procedures.Methods:52 patients with hysteromyoma were divided into three groups:group A (Intramuscular injection with dolantin),group B (uterine cavity infiltration anaesthesia) and group C (PCA).Uterine artery embolization was performed and pain after the procedure was observed and documented for statistic study.Results:Pain occured in all patients of group A (100%).The incidence of pain in group B and C was lower than that of group A (16.7% and 5.3% respectively).Conclusion:Uterine cavity infiltration anaesthesia or selfcontrolled analgesia are better way of analgesia for uterine artery embolization.
