Mechano-chemical Effects of Dolomite in Superfine Grinding by Ball-stirring Mill in Wet

The mechano-chemical effect of dolomite was researched in the wet ultrafine ball-stirring grinding system.It was analyzed by characterization of particle size,ion concentration and X-ray diffraction at different cumulative grinding time.The results indicated that the particle size of dolomite particles was reduced with the time going.The solubility of dolomite in water increased when it was activated by mechano-chemical effect and then it re-crystallized on the surfaces of other particles,which resulted in the dynamic balance of dissolving and re-crystallizing.The micro-strain and crystal grain size of dolomite crystal were reduced firstly,and then increased,it was demonstrated that the mechanical activation happened during the dolomite was ground in wet.
