Study on MIPT-AES with a Pneumatic Nebulization Sample Introduction System

The analytical characteristics of low-powered MPT-AES with a pneumatic nebulization sample introduction system were studied. The detection limits for Ag, Al, Ca, Cd, Cu, Fe and Mg were 31,17, 3.0, 6.7, 16, 5.1 and 3.1 ng/ml, respectively. The RSDs for determination of these elements were shown to be in the range of 1.7 to 5.3 %. The effect of some easily ionized elements on the Mg Ⅱ 279.6nm emission was investigated.
