Enantiomeric Separation of Amlodipine by High Performance Capillary Electrophoresis

The enantiomers of amlodipine were successfully separated by high performance capillary electrophoresis using HP-β-CD as a chiral selector. Effects of the pH and concentration of buffer, concentration of HP-β-CD, and type and concentration of organic modifier on the resolution of amlodipine enantiomers were investigated. The resolution were improved greatly by the addition of 10% CH 3OH.
