Electroanalysis of Dopamine at Nano Cu_2O and Nitrogen Doped Graphene Modified Electrode

A novel Cu_2O nanoparticles and nitrogen doped graphene(NG)modified electrode for electroananlysis of dopamine was fabricated by a facile chemical reduction method.The composite material was characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope.The electrochemical behavior of dopamine was investigated in pH=7.0phosphate buffer solution by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.The experimental results indicated that the modified electrode exhibited an electrocatalytic and adsorption activities to dopamine.Under the optimum conditions,the catalytic current was proportional to dopamine concentration in the range of 0.5-700μmol/L with the correlation coefficient of 0.9943.The detection limit was 0.17μmol/L(S/N=3).Moreover,this proposed sensor also displayed excellent selectivity,good stability and reproducibility.The proposed method was further applied to the determination of dopamine in dopamine injections with satisfied results.
