Temperature Controlled HATR-FTIR for the Rapid Discrimination of Moutai Liquor

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)is one of the common methods for liquor detection.In this work,we successfully implement the rapid inspection for Moutai liquor by the temperature-controlled horizontal attenuated total reflection(HATR)as an attachment of FTIR spectrometer.In comparison of the traditional potassium bromide(KBr)tabletting,this approach greatly simplifies the operation procedure of inspissation,drying and tabletting.The whole testing process can be completed in less than 5minutes.Additionally,we identify the authenticity of Moutai liquor through 1D FTIR and second derivative spectra,providing a new method to objectively evaluate the quality of alcohol product.
