Three digestion methods(dry digestion, wet total digestion and semi-digestion)combining with ICP-AES were applied for determination of four essential elements(K,Na,Ca and Mg)in two kinds of fishes(perch and salmon). The results showed that the recoveries were in the range of 91%-109%.Except for calcium, the relative standard deviations were all less than 5%.Compared with the other two digestion methods,semi-digestion was found to be easily-operated and highly efficient with good accuracy and reproducibility, and therefore more suitable for the determination of four essential elements in fish.
