Synthesis and evaluation of the molecularly imprinted polymers for selective extraction of the mono-subsitituted sulfonylurea herbicides

New molecularly imprinted polymer(MIP) for selective extraction of NK#94827,a mono-subsitituted sulfonylurea herbicide,was synthesized with monosulfuron as the template and acrylamide as the functional monomer.The recognition property and affinity of the MIP for monosulfuron and its analog-NK#94827 were evaluated by equilibrium adsorption and chromatographic study.Recognition mechanism and influences of the mobile phase on the retention of the monosulfuron and NK#94827 were studied with resulting polymer as the stationary phase.The results showed that the MIP synthesized with acrylamide as the functional monomer has better selectivity for NK#94827 than the MIP synthesized with methacrylic acid.The MIP can be used as selective solid-phase extraction material for the sample cleanup in the determination of NK#94827 residue in soil.
