The Empirical Study on Group Counseling's Effect in Improving University Students' Social Interaction

This article aims at verifying group counseling's short-time effect and long-time effect and putting forward what needs to be done afterwards.The study selects 30 student clients as the subject group,which is under the intervention of the group counseling,and selects another 30 students as the control group,without any intervention.The study finds out that,firstly, group counseling can enhance social confidence,improve the behavior of the social interaction and regulate social emotions within a short time;secondly,group counseling has(little) long-time effect on students except that it can improve their behavior of the social interaction;thirdly,due to the variety of the personality and the changing of the goal,the effect of the group counseling on the students is different;lastly,the ending of the group counseling does not mean the problems are solved,in fact,there are many other things that need to be done so that the effect of the counseling can be strengthened.
