A Study of Innovation in Approaches of Cultivation and Active Promotion of Research-based Teaching in Undergraduate Course

Innovation is the theme of modern social development and higher education.It is a historical mission our age has entrusted to higher medical education to foster creative medical talents of high quality by developing innovative education and research-oriented teaching.Higher medical education is mainly reflected throughout the whole process of teaching.This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis on current issues concerning creative teaching present in higher medical schools.Based on the analysis,in the light of specific teaching conditions in our university,the author proposes research-oriented teaching in terms of classroom,experimental and clinical teaching,instruction after class,and evaluation on teaching,in attempt to boost contemporary concept for education,to construct a creative learning atmosphere among university students,to gradually put into effect creative teaching in higher medical education,and ultimately to nurture qualified medical personnel of innovative spirit who would boldly practice their creative capability.
