Preparation and Properties of Spherical Activated Carbon-based Inner Materials for Chemical Protective Clothing
In this paper, spherical activated carbon-based inner materials in ten different specifications for chemical protective clothing were prepared with five composite schemes by using point bonding technology on self-made carbon loading machine. And then, the effect of various factors, i.e., composite technology, carbon loading amount and the diameter of spherical activated carbon, etc., on the permeability, washing resistance and the liquid-liquid and liquid-gas chemical protective performance of the inner materials were investigated. Results indicates that based on the indicators of bond fastness, chemical protective performance, cost, etc., the optimum solution is the single-layer spherical activated carbon-based inner material prepared by using small-sized spherical activated carbon as adsorbent.
