Transgenic With TfdA Gene To Improve the Ryegrass of Herbicide 2,4-D Resistance

2,4-D-degrading gene Tfd A was transformed into shoot apical meristem of Lolium multiflorum Lam by Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. 2,4-D herbicide spraying experiments show that wild type ryegrass became etiolation death after spraying 10 g/L 2,4-D on 17 days later and transgenic plants(transgenic ryegrass with Act1::Tfd A and Act1::Tfd A-Zml3::Flp) still grew well in 2,4-D 10 g/L concentration. The chlorophyll content of all plants were decreased after spraying 10 g/L 2,4-D, the chlorophyll content of all plants were 2.411 mg·g-1·FW,3.006 mg·g-1·FW and 3.039 mg·g-1·FW, reduced by 24.444%, 2.592% and 1.619% than the previous. Expression of Tfd A gene in ryegrass significantly improve the ability to resist the herbicide 2,4-D.
