Genomic Analysis of Chickpea WOX Transcription Factor Gene Family

The WOX gene family is a family of transcription factors unique to plants. The study found that the gene family regulates all important aspects of plant growth and development. In this study, the WOX protein sequences downloaded from the chickpea database were screened by software HUMMER, Smart and so on. A total of 17 members of WOX gene family were analyzed by informatics method. The basic information of these family members including molecular weight, protein length and isoelectric point were analyzed by informatics method.By systematically analyzing the evolutionary relationship, conservative region and gene structure of WOX gene family by bioinformatics software, the WOX gene family of chick pea was divided into the ancient clade, the middle clade and the modern clade. And the structural analysis indicated that the whole genome sequence of the clade was highly conserved, showing the property of diversity during evolution. Fluorescent PCR was used to analyze the expression of WOX gene family members under salt stress at different time points, which showed that CarWOX5, CarWOX7 and CarWOX11 were closely related to salt tplerance regulation. In this study, the WOX gene family has been analyzed in bioinformatics comprehensively and systematically, with a view to lay the foundation for the subsequent functional verification research.
