Genetic Association Analysis of 5 Agronomic Traits in Pear(Pyrus spp.)

Pear is a highly heterozygous perennial woody plant, which has many problems such as long existence,large area occupation, and high cost in traditional breeding. These problems can be effectively resolved by genotype selections, and develop molecular markers tightly linked to the high quality traits is the fundamental work of genotype selections. In this paper, 85 pear varieties were used as materials, and a total of 223 282 SNP markers in high quality were developed by SLAF-seq technology. The leaf length, leaf width, internode length, fruit skin colour and fruit traits in growth period associated with SNP markers were analyzed using the general linear model(GLM) by TASSEL software. Finally 11 SNP markers connected with the leaf length, leaf width and fruit skin colour were obtained, and 16 candidate genes were screened. This study obtained molecular markers within the whole genome range, and carried out population genetics and association analysis through molecular markers,which might provide theoretical guidance for the application of molecular breeding technology of pear.
