Comparative Test on New Tobacco Strains of Anti-PVY

We did field co mparison experiment with 13 anti PVY strains including YNN-N4(Y1), YNN-N2(Y2), V3-V1-1(Y3), Y2 F-10(Y4), Y2 F-15(Y5), Y2 F-1(Y6), V3-2(Y7), V3-7(Y8), V3-8(Y9), V8-10(Y10),V8-13(Y11), V8-6(Y12), V8-2(Y13) from Yunnan Academy of Tobacco Agricultural Science in Shizhahe Community Zhaoyang District. K326 and Yunyan 97 varieties were CK. The results showed that the resistance to PVY in each strain was R(I). We chose five superior strains including YNN-N2(Y2), V3-V1-1(Y3), Y2 F-15(Y5),V3-2(Y7), V8-10(Y10) according to their characteristics including growth period, agronomic traits, appearance quality of original tobacco, yield, quality and disease resistance traits. A field experiment was carried out in small area and production demonstration lines with the five stains in the next year. On the one hand, the above lines can be used as breeding resources for disease resistance, and on the other hand, they can continue to carry out field planting screening under different environmental climates.
