Sun Fuyu Wang Yingshu Xu Wenchong (Central Iron & Steel Research Institute)  
By means of HM-100 hot-stage microscopy the in-situ observation of austenite-bainite transformation has been carried out with 12Cr2MoWVTiB steel. The effects of prior austenite grain size, hot deformation and cooling rate on the bainitie transformation were investigated. According to the results observed the techniques to improve the quality of bainite steel were proposed.
